NEW DEVELOPMENTS

St. Elmo Public Market is located just off South Congress, and is a new commercial space developing that will include a mix of restaurants, retail and local businesses. It aims to be a food and shopping hub, with plans to bring in various vendors, breweries, and artisan markets. An industrial warehouse nearby called "The Yard" has also been transforming into a creative business hub home to local breweries, distilleries, coffee roasters, and even a winery.

Located in the heart of Southwest Austin at the intersection of South Lamar Boulevard and Loop 360, the Brodie Oaks Redevelopment will be a 37.6 acre mixed-use district that will include 13.7 acres of open space, 1.26 million square-feet of office space, 1,700 residential units, restaurants, retail shops, grocery, a potential hotel site, and more. The redevelopment of Brodie Oaks Shopping Center will transform its existing development into an innovative mixed-use project with abundant park space and dynamic views of downtown Austin and the Hill Country. The project will redefine the landscape in one of Austin’s busiest commuter areas and will offer an entrance into the Barton Springs Greenbelt for residents, employees, and visitors alike to enjoy.
